Situated in the province of Almería, between the Parador and Enix, “La Envía” is a fun course. It' not very long and there’s no rough which makes it highly suitable for beginners, though certain holes are more difficult, such as the 9th, a 377 metre long par-4, or the 14th, 365 metres long and a par-4.


This short 18-hole course, designed by Francisco Mendoza, will attract people who prefer a nice, relaxed and enjoyable game of golf rather than the challenge of defeating a punishing championship course.
Nevertheless there are a few difficult, undulated, holes which require all your skills. La Envía is sited in a wide valley with new villa developments, west of the road from the N340 towards Enix between El Parador and Enix.

Consider to take some extra time to experience the excellent kitchen of the restaurant in the luxurious clubhouse.

The Almerimar golf course is the oldest course in the province of Almería. It was built in 1976 and forms part of a complex which includes two four-star hotels, apartments, other sports facilities and a yachting marina.

The course was designed by Rob Kirby and Gary Player, and consists of 18 holes with a par of 72, and features wide fairways flanked by leafy trees, which not only provide pleasant shade in summer but also make it considerably more difficult to reach the flag. The greens are wide and fast, and protected by huge bunkers. A large number of the holes are affected by water hazards which obstruct access to the greens. The par-3 12th requires a spectacular shot to carry the ball 100 metres over the water to reach the green, which is on a small island.

Basically, it is an appetising round for players of any level.

Playa Serena was founded in 1979 and designed by Angel Gallardo and Peter Alliss.The course has a flat character as it is located straight at the beach approximately 5 kilometres west of Roquetas de Mar.

Plenty of natural water hazards and bunkers, protecting the small and mostly undulated greens, make this course a true challenge and provide a fair test for all levels of play.

Palms, pine trees and acacias surround the course. Playa Serena is a private course but green fee players are welcome when booking in advance

The Valle del Este Resort offers a desert style golf course. The course is situated just outside the city of Vera about 90 km north of Almería and only 7 km from the beaches of Vera and Garrucha.

The Desert Springs Golf Club is the first true Arizona, California (Palm Springs) style desert Golf Course in Europe.

The course has been built to the full USGA specifications. This course is a must for both the beginner and the experienced golfer as fairways have been kept generously wide but the springs, watercourses, dry river beds, rocks, thousands of cacti and numerous bunkers will test the skills of the low handicapper.

Located near Mojácar, Marina Golf is sited in the middle of a touristic development with beautiful beaches.

The Marina Golf Mojacar course, is the new and exiting Levante almeriense golf course, surrounded by the Mediterranean sea, between Garrucha and Mojacar, with wonderful views from relaxing ocean views to colourful patches of laboured landscapes.

The course opened spring 2000. This relatively short 18 holes course, designed by Ramón Espinosa´s golf course design includes three strategically situated lakes and offers wonderful and detersive views from each hole towards the Mediterranean Ocean and the desert like inland.

CortijoGrande is an 18-hole par 72 course, opened in 1976. It is situated about 8 kilometres from the sea and west of the road between the N340 and Mojacar near Turre.


This course is unique and is strongly recommended to those who enjoy a round of golf in nature and can do without all the luxury of today's new golf projects. The course is set in the valley at the foot of the Sierra Cabrera and is laid out across lemon, orange and olive tree plantation right next to the little local town.

There is no real club house but we can certainly recommend the relaxed restaurant right next to the course
